The 1st Annual
A. mandala (Sanskrit:मण्डल, romanized: maṇḍala, lit. ‘circle’, [ˈmɐɳɖɐlɐ]) is a geometric configuration of symbols. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be employed for focusing attention of practitioners and adepts, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation and trance induction. Painting a New Year Mandala
Over the course of two days we will come together in community and individually paint a Mandala that will represent your year ahead. We will have various meditations and exercises to help you connect with deeper parts of you that will help guide you to paint your Annual Mandala.
Crafting mandalas is a powerful method for delving into the depths of our inner selves. This creative process allows us to confront and integrate hidden aspects of our being, including the shadow—shaped by past experiences, traumas, and family dynamics.
Additionally, mandala therapy is an excellent way to reconnect with our inner child, enabling us to express emotions and creativity that may have been suppressed over time. Engaging in this artistic practice fosters self-reflection and can lead to valuable insights and healing. By immersing ourselves in the intricate patterns and colors, we create a safe space to explore our feelings and tap into transformative energies, promoting self-awareness and personal development.

OUR TEAM
Nicholas Wasierski HHP, Rolfer ®
I was born in Western Alaska during a winter storm on the Kuskokwim River steeped in the wisdom of knowing where my food comes from - catching salmon, gathering berries in the summer, and hunting Caribou and Moose in the fall and winter.
I have been a lifelong athlete, excelling as an all-state wrestler and basketball player. I attended North Idaho College on a wrestling scholarship and also played rugby. During my college years, I was introduced to the health and wellness world through classes in sports medicine, sports psychology, and stress management.
After college, for many years I lived as a wanderer, finding work as a carpenter, welder, and mechanic throughout the west until I stumbled upon The Wilderness Awareness School which grounded me and reminded me of the old ways of living. Remembering that my purpose for being on this planet was to bring ceremony back to his lineage.
I currently call home Port Townsend Wa. where I am currently residing and work as a Structural Integrator (Rolfer®), Holistic Health Coach, and a Rites of Passage guide running Wandering Bear Wellness.
In my spare time, you can find me singing rain down from the sky, meditating, studying, fishing, and midnight flower picking.
